I have to say that I’m not too green… I agree with a lot of postulations that they have, and obviously I care about the ecological problems,  but I don’t do many things for it.  All the people learn about eviromentally friendly practices by many sources, on internet, on T.V, or by the newspapers. Today,  the information about the ecological problems and the many solutions that somebody can learn to finish with all the environmentally problems there are within reach of everybody, with all the “mass media” expansion.  

I don’ have many habits of recycling, but I always care about the trash on the streets, turn off the lights when I’m not using it, or not use a lot of plastic bags when I’m buying something in the super-market. I don’t drive, and here, on Santiago, I’m not living with somebody that has a car, so I use the “transantiago”, I don’t know to ride a bike very well, also, I live too far from my University, so it’s impossible to go there walking. I live in Santiago Centro, so everything is close to me, always that I can, y walk to go to some place (but that place it has to be close from my house, like, forty minutes walking, not much)  

I’m not joined in no one eco-organization, but there is one that interest me, it’s called “sea Shepherds” , 

It’s an organization that care about whale hunting. I have a very close friend that is joined in this organization, she always talk to me about it, and I think that it’s very interesting.

How to reduce the carbon footprint? I think that it’s a problem that all the authorities have to take, thinking in all the industries… It’s a problem that all the big industrialization brings, all employers should be concerned, it is up to them roughly, not normal people.

The Chilean society, in a specified way, has missed the ecological consciousness… Everybody knows about this issue, but nobody do anything for “save the planet”… But, I’m still thinking that the solution it’s in the hands of all the big industries… not in the normal people who has to turn out the light every time that it’s unnecessary (I’m agree with  that measure) , there is the industries that has to not work every time, using energy in unnecessary ways.
